Engagement guide

Engagements

A planning engagement is a structured piece of work with a fixed fee and a written deliverable, not an open-ended retainer.

This is the custom service-model page for our practice. It exists so you know exactly what happens between the first message and the finished plan, before you pay anything.

01

Scoping call

A free 15-minute call to confirm your situation fits the service and agree which engagement makes sense. No invoice is issued at this stage.

02

Document drop

You upload the last 12 months of bank exports and client invoices through a secure same-domain upload. We never ask for these over email.

03

Working sessions

One or three structured sessions depending on the engagement. Each has an agenda sent in advance, so you arrive prepared and the time is yours.

04

Plan & handover

You receive a dated written plan and a 30-minute walk-through. Anything after that is the annual review retainer — never a surprise bill.

What the written plan actually contains

The deliverable is a single document, dated and yours to keep. It is built around the realities of freelance and contractor income in Thailand, not a template lifted from a salaried-employee model.

  • Cash-flow buffer target — a rolling buffer sized to your lumpy income, expressed in weeks of fixed costs rather than a flat number.
  • Tax position summary — your VAT status, your personal income tax band, and the filing dates that apply to you this year.
  • Insurance gap check — what you are exposed to without an employer safety net, and what is worth fixing first.
  • Retirement contribution plan — a contribution schedule that survives a slow quarter, not one that collapses the first time a client pays late.
  • Next-12-months actions — a short, dated list of what to do and when, so the plan does not sit unread in a drawer.
An engagement ends with a plan you can act on, not a folder of charts.

When you are ready, the next step is the free scoping call. Send an inquiry and we will book it in.
